Tarot Card of the Day
Death and Rebirth (Deck: Light Seer’s Tarot by Chris-Anne)
The 13th card of the Major Arcana is usually called just “Death,” or sometimes “Transformation.” In the Light Seer’s Tarot Deck it is called “Death (infinity symbol) Rebirth.” This card rarely if ever signifies an actual death in your life. It is a card of transformation and cycles. The world goes through a cycle of death and rebirth every year with the changing of the seasons. The world lives fully and abundantly in Summer, fades and dies in Autumn, slumbers in Winter, and is reborn in Spring, starting the cycle all over again. We travel a spiral path each year, and each change in the seasons gives us time to reflect on where we were last year at this time, and how we’ve grown since then. We also go through cycles in our own lives. Saying goodbye to the old and welcoming in the new. If we did not, we would be stagnant and unhealthy. Change is inevitable. We can embrace it or fight it, but it happens either way. I see this card as an opportunity to look at where I am compared to where I’ve been. Let’s all take the opportunity to do that today.
Ask yourselves these questions: Have I changed and grown since last year? What growth am I experiencing right now? Am I embracing it or fighting it?
