9 of Wands (Deck: Light Seer’s Tarot by Chris-Anne)
The 9 of Wands is all about defense and boundaries. A woman stands defensively behind a fence she has probably constructed herself. This represents a barrier for none to cross. We all need boundaries. Without boundaries we try to do and be everything for everyone. When you do that, you will always fail. None of us, mortal or immortal, are capable of everything. We all have our strengths and weaknesses. We all have a finite amount of time in our day. We all have things that make us uncomfortable. We all need time for self-care so that we can be strong enough to work and serve others. Boundaries and saying “No.” are essential to our well-being. I have an oracle card above my desk from The Divine Feminine Oracle Deck. It’s Freyja, Goddess of Discernment. She says “I spend my time wisely. I only say yes when it’s a holy hell yes.” You do NOT have to say “Yes” to everything that is asked of you. Some people will be disappointed, but I promise they will find another way to get it done. Only YOU can decide what a “holy hell yes” is for you. Be mindful of your strengths and weaknesses, and what makes you uncomfortable. Be the best you, and only do the things that make you feel fulfilled. Sometimes life gives us something that we can’t avoid. These are lessons we need to learn. But when there’s a choice, always make the choice that is best for you and your family. You’re the only one who CAN make those choices. It’s your life, and your family, take charge of it and make it worthy and joyful.

Look at your schedule and your priorities, do they match? Are you using your time where your priorities dictate you should?
