Are you interested in Tarot? Do you own a collection of decks but do not know what to do with them? Now is time to take them out and learn that they are more than just pretty pictures. The Tarot can provide you with an opportunity to discover information about the world and yourself. Here is how the tarot can help you.
To begin with, the cards hold many important esoteric or hidden mysteries. The Tarot shows us the evolution of our soul through the 22 major arcana cards – often called the Journey of the Fool; and, it reveals through the minor arcana cards the influence of the elements in our daily lives. Each card holds the mysteries of Astrology and Numerology.
Secondly, the Tarot is a vessel to communicate with Spirit. I use the term Spirit to refer to God, Higher Self, Angels, Energy, the Great Divine, etc – whatever entity that you connect best to on your spiritual path. When you sit for a reading, the Tarot reader is merely a “telephone line” through which Spirit expresses itself. Spirit does not speak our language and relies on the universal symbology and archetypes that make up the Tarot deck to communicate its message. The cards provide context clues which invoke the reader’s ability to put into words what Spirit is suggesting. In other words, the Tarot is a universal language. The best news is that you do not need a professional reader to receive the incredible gift of spiritual guidance. Use Tarot to access Spirit yourself, any time, any day. It is an amazing tool for self-reflection and will help you to see your problems, recognize your choices and define your goals.
Finally, if you have the desire to help others, the Tarot provides a vehicle for spiritual counseling. After listening to your client’s request for help and laying out a spread, the cards create the initial dialog to give you a sense of direction. Using this guidance, you will be led to ask deeper questions and to seek more answers from your client and cards to get the root of the problem and to reach a solution. This is how a spiritual counseling session progresses.
